Hoshiguma Doji
"Oh dear, oh dear. Onmyoji who have no faith in each other are so easy to deceive. As long as you pretend to be an innocent bystander, they will believe everything you say."
Hoshiguma Doji is a highly flexible Ninja shikigami who deals burst damage. Despite being a demon, he is different from Shuten Doji and Ibaraki Doji. He takes no pleasure in defeating enemies and is good at fooling them with words and wit.
He can observe the battle situation up close with Wine Demon's help, select a suitable position from which to enter the fray, and use words to annoy or make enemies fall into a Confused state and attack their teammates. After wreaking havoc on the battlefield, he can throw out wine jars to mislead the enemies and leave unscathed. Sealing enemies may please him for a time, but fooling them brings him the greatest joy life.
Trait: Tipsy Tongue
When hitting an enemy shikigami with his abilities, Hoshiguma Doji will make them Agitated. Use the ability again on the target at the max level of Agitated to deal bonus damage.
Ability 1: Heed My Words
Hoshiguma Doji launches blockable verbal attacks in the designated direction, dealing damage to enemies across an arc. Repeatedly hitting the same shikigami reduces the subsequent damage dealt by verbal attacks.
Verbal attacks can be reserved up to 2 times.
Ability 2: Hide and Seek
Hoshiguma Doji throws wine bowls in all directions and then hides in one of them. After a short delay, the wine bowls explode to deal AoE damage.
Using this ability again will end the hiding status.
Ability 3: Avatar of Wine Demon
Hoshiguma Doji conjures a Wine Demon and controls its movement. During this period, the Wine Demon gains a substantial Movement Speed Bonus. Using the ability again teleports Hoshiguma Doji to the Wine Demon's position, dealing damage to and inflicting a Slow effect on enemies in range before and after the teleportation. If Hoshiguma Doji deals damage to enemy shikigami or monsters while teleporting, he will gain a bonus shield.
Ability 4: Enemy in the Bowl
Hoshiguma Doji throws a wine bowl in the designated direction, dealing damage to enemies along the path. Upon reaching the maximum distance, it explodes after a short delay, dealing a small amount of damage to enemies in range and inflicting a Stun effect.
If it hits an enemy shikigami, it inflicts a Scapegoat effect on them. After a short delay, it immobilizes the target with the Scapegoat effect and inflicts a Confused effect on nearby enemies, compelling them to attack the target with the Scapegoat effect.
This week sees Hoshiguma Doji make his debut on the Heian-kyo battlefield.

S21 Battle Pass: Second Cycle is on! The Second Cycle will end on 7/13/2023. For this cycle, new Battle Pass exclusive skins, Season Skin: Superior, seal effects, broadcast themes, item special effects, as well as other rewards have been added. Optimizations and Adjustments
1. Optimized the skip cutscenes in the Rivalry interface style for some shikigami and skins such as Momo's Blossom Letter; Miketsu's Cleansing Crow; Inryo's default skin, evolved skin, Dyed Skin: Beneath the Elegance, and Spirit of the Ascetic; and Yato no Kami's default skin and Crimson Night Treachery.
2. Adjusted some of the quest content and rewards released in the Hundred Battle Challenge event when new shikigami become available.
3. Optimized the position performance for Ootengu's Finale of Divine Birth in shikigami scenes so that this skin has the same position as other skins in the same shikigami scene.
4. Updated the voice lines of some past shikigami skins. Players can tap to listen in the shikigami voice interface.
5. Adjusted the automatic attack rules for Sougenbi's bullets: if there are no minions within the bullets' attack range, they will cease firing automatically.
6. Fixed the text error in Akaname's strategy.
Free Shikigami Lineup Adjustments
We will change the lineup of the limited-time free shikigami at 5:00 AM on 5/29. The new free shikigami will be Youko, Ichimokuren, Takiyasha Hime, Yamawaro, Hangan, Jinmenju, Kyonshi Ani, and Kamaitachi.
Onmyoji who own the God of Fortune Month Pact will have the additional free shikigami, Bakekujira and Oitsuki.
Of these shikigami, Kyonshi Ani and Kamaitachi have a difficulty of Hard. Onmyoji who have been in Heian-kyo for less than 7 days can't use them in battle for free.
