[Shikigami Adjustments]
Higanbana
When we originally designed the Higanbana Shikigami, we aimed to create a Mage with mid-range sustained damage capabilities. Though her burst and range might be weaker compared to other Mages, she was meant to be a serious threat to enemies at closer distances. However, in the current version, Higanbana struggles because of the delayed effect of the [Flower Seal] marks, which leaves her weak in both range and burst and unable to threaten enemies as intended at mid-close range.
To address these issues, we're modifying Higanbana's skills. Firstly, we'll eliminate the delay in applying [Flower Seal] marks from her Ability 3 [Blood-soaked Flowers] and increase the area it affects as well as its reliability. To balance this, we're removing the charge mechanic from this ability.
Also, considering Higanbana's challenges in managing multiple [Flower Seal] marked targets, we're increasing the damage radius when the marks detonate and introducing a chain explosion mechanism to boost her group battle capabilities. In addition, given her poor minion clearing ability, we're introducing a new mechanic that allows minions to be marked with [Flower Seal].
Finally, we've noticed a substantial difference in benefits between having full or less than full [Flower Soul] stacks for her ultimate ability. Often, players use the ultimate ability just before reaching full stacks, resulting in a loss of potential benefits. Therefore, we're changing the ultimate ability so that it can only be activated with full [Flower Soul] stacks.
Trait [Blooming Earth]:
Mechanics Adjustments: When Higanbana's abilities hit an enemy, she will transfer [Nutrients] to herself. Absorbing them will recover HP for herself.
Ability 1 [Deadly Blooms]:
Mechanics Adjustments: When hitting enemies marked with [Flower Seal], the damage area will be expanded, and a shield will be granted to the caster while reducing this ability's cooldown. If there are other enemies marked with [Flower Seal] within the area, they will be tracked and their [Flower Seal] will be triggered.
Ability 2 [Bloom Shadow]:
Visual Effect Adjustment: Bullet visual effects have been upgraded to increase visibility.
Ability 3 [Blood-soaked Flowers]:
Mechanics Adjustments: Higanbana will create a sea of flowers in the designated direction that lasts for a period of time, inflicting Slow and damage on enemies within the area, and marking them with [Flower Seal] for a duration. If enemies do not leave the sea of flowers while it persists, the [Flower Seal] mark will be continuously refreshed.
Ability 4 [Underworld Flowers]:
When the absorbed [Flower Souls] reach 100, Higanbana will unlock her ultimate ability, which consumes all [Flower Souls] to summon Underworld Flowers in the specified area for a duration.
Visual Effect Adjustment: The boundary effects of Underworld Flowers have been optimized, reducing the obstruction of the effects.
[Balance Adjustments]
1. Tamamonomae
As a Mage shikigami, Tamamonomae has substantial harassment and self-protection abilities, which makes countering him difficult even at close range. Therefore, we've reduced the knockback distance and control time of his Ability 3 [Demon Wrath] to maintain his strong harassment capabilities while ensuring reasonable self-protection.
Skill 1 [Spiritual Strike]:
Damage spell bonus increased from 75% to 80%.
Ability 3 [Demon Wrath]:
Knockback distance adjusted from 200 yards to 150 yards.
Control time adjusted from 0.8s to 0.4s.
2. Yato no Kami
Currently, Yato no Kami, as a Samurai shikigami, needs to use his Ability 3 [Joint Dance] to gain additional attack speed, which means he has to use a displacement ability even in close-range battles to gain the necessary attack speed. Therefore, we have moved the attack speed bonus to his Ability 2, hoping to provide a reasonable experience across various scenarios. Also, Yato no Kami's one-on-one dueling capabilities are somewhat weak, so we have slightly increased the damage of his Ability 1 [Nighttime Invitation].
Ability 1 [Nighttime Invitation]:
Base damage increased from 15/28/41/54/67 (+60% Attack) (+2.2*Level Bonus) to 15/28/41/54/67 (+60% Attack) (+2.2*Level Bonus).
Additional Slash Damage increased from 10/20/30/40/50 to 10/25/40/55/70.
Ability 2 [Life Seal]:
New Effect: The caster gains an attack speed bonus when the scythe returns.
Ability 3 [Joint Dance]:
Removed the attack speed increase effect gained after use.
3. Ryomen
As a Samurai shikigami, Ryomen's ultimate ability has been too weak to pose a significant threat, and his basic attack range is too short, impacting his performance when transitioning from abilities to basic attacks. We're increasing both the range of his basic and enhanced basic attacks, and the damage of his ultimate ability, [Divine Combo], to provide a better gameplay experience.
Skill 2 [Storm Surge]:
Base damage increased from 100/160/220/280/340 to 110/180/250/320/390.
Ultimate Ability [Divine Combo]:
Base damage increased from 140/210/280 to 180/270/360.
4. Kainin
Kainin, a Ninja shikigami, has been underperforming in the late game due to low damage capabilities. We're slightly increasing the attack benefits of her Ability 1 to improve her late-game performance.
Ability 1 [Flying Leaves]:
Increased Attack bonus from 22.5% to 30%.
5. Asura
Asura, a Samurai shikigami, has lacked sufficient damage output and durability in mid-to-late game team battles, leading to poor late-game performance. We're enhancing the attack bonus for damage and healing of his Ability 1, [Lotus Extermination], to allow for a more prominent role in team battles.
Ability 1 [Lotus Extermination]:
The bonus Attack Damage for the first four slash attacks has been increased from (+80% Attack) to (+85% Attack).
The bonus Attack Damage for the first four recoveries has been increased from (+40% Bonus Attack) to (+45% Bonus Attack).
The bonus Attack Damage for the fifth slash attack has been increased from (+160% Attack) to (+170% Attack).
The bonus Attack Damage for the fifth recovery has been increased from (+80% Bonus Attack) to (+90% Bonus Attack).
6. Hannya
As a Samurai shikigami, Hannya's laning phase harassment has been overly powerful, negatively affecting opponents, while the Attack Damage bonus in his melee form has been lacking. We're slightly lowering the base damage of his ranged abilities, [Ghoul Mask] and [Blood Grenade], and increasing the Attack Damage bonus of his melee ability, [Ghoul Strike], to ensure he remains effective late game when equipped with offensive gear.
Ranged Form Ability 2 [Ghoul Mask]:
Base damage reduced from 15/45/75/105/135 to 5/35/65/95/125.
Ranged Form Ability 3 [Blood Grenade]:
Base damage reduced from 10/80/150/220/290 to 5/75/145/215/285.
Melee Form Ability 2 [Ghoul Strike]:
Attack Damage bonus increased from 95% to 100%.
7. Aoandon
Aoandon, a Mage with a relatively close combat range, has had suboptimal dueling capabilities in early and mid-game. With an increase in Marksman shikigami ranges, we see an opportunity to adjust Aoandon's range. Therefore, we decide to revert her early game range while boosting the damage of her Ability 1 [Butterfly Shadow] to enhance her mid-lane performance.
Ability 1 [Butterfly Shadow]:
Extended attack range increased from 15/30/45/60/75 to 35/45/55/65/75.
Base damage reduced from 30/40/50/60/70 to 30/45/60/75/90.
8. Yuki
Yuki, a Samurai shikigami with strong control abilities, could lock down the enemy backline too quickly when equipped with pure damage gear. Therefore, we're shifting some of his damage output from Attack scaling to base values to slightly reduce his burst when using pure damage gear to improve gameplay balance.
Passive [Snow Chaser]:
Damage adjusted from (+100% Attack) (+8 Current Level) (+6% (increase by 1% for every 80 extra Attack bonus) of target's max HP) to (+100% Attack) (+18 Current Level) (+6% (increase by 1% for every 200 extra Attack bonus) of target's max HP).
9. Bukkuman
Bukkuman, a Support shikigami, has had weak control and shielding base values. His Ability 3 [Shadow Paintings] has had a dangerously close casting range, requiring high-risk maneuvers in the late game. We're increasing both the control effect and the casting range of this ability, as well as enhancing the shielding effect of his ultimate ability [Scroll of Annals] to boost his effectiveness in combat.
Ability 3 [Shadow Paintings]:
and knockup duration increased from 0.35s to 0.5s.
Ultimate Ability [Scroll of Annals]:
Shield effect increased from 10/300/410/520 (+100% Ability Power) to 40/400/650/900 (+140% Ability Power).
10. Lana
Lana, a Mage shikigami, has exerted excessive lane pressure during early and mid-game phases. To provide a more balanced experience, we're slightly reducing the base damage of her Ability 1 [All Bubbles!].
Ability 1 [All Bubbles!]
Base damage adjusted from 26/33/40/47/54 to 23/29/35/41/47.
