[Balance Adjustments]
1. Hakuzosu
As a Ninja shikigami, Hakuzosu performs poorly in the late game, especially in disadvantageous situations. Therefore, we've increased the late-game damage for his ranged form's Ability 1 [Mt. Dream: Red Flames] and Ability 2 [Mt. Dream: Binding Seal], and optimized the feel of performing basic attacks after using his melee form's Ability 1 [White Fox: Recollect] to enhance his overall gameplay experience.
Ability 1 [Mt. Dream: Red Flames] (Ranged Form):
Base damage increased from 120/180/240/300/360 (+90% Ability Power) to 120/200/280/360/440 (+105% Ability Power).
Ability 2 [Mt. Dream: Binding Seal] (Ranged Form):
Base damage increased from 90/135/180/225/270 to 90/155/220/285/350.
Optimized the feel of performing basic attacks after teleporting with Ability 1 [White Fox: Recollect] (Melee Form).
2. Wukong
As a Samurai shikigami, Wukong currently relies too much on the tankiness provided by his fully equipped state, leading to a significant performance gap between advantageous and disadvantageous situations. Also, his damage over time is slightly lower compared to other Samurai shikigami in the early game. We've slightly increased the base damage and base healing effect of Ability 1 [Cudgel's Protection] while reducing the additional attack bonus for the healing effect. We have also reduced the Attack Bonus of the Powerful Strike in full [Wrath] state of his Ability 1: [Head Smash], aiming to make the overall experience more balanced for both users and opponents throughout the game.
Ability 1 [Cudgel's Protection]:
Adjusted base Swing damage from 25/60/95/130/165 to 25/65/105/145/185.
Adjusted base Cudgel damage from 50/100/150/200/250 to 50/110/170/230/290.
Healing effect adjusted from 6/10/14/18/22 (+40% Bonus Attack) to 6/12/18/24/30 (+30% Bonus Attack).
Ability 1 [Head Smash]:
Adjusted Attack Bonus of the Powerful Strike in full [Wrath] state from (+80% Attack) to (+70% Attack).
3. Onikiri
As a Ninja shikigami, Onikiri tends to be weak in the late game, making it hard to take down the enemy's main damage dealers. To address this, we've increased the Bonus Attack Damage scaling on his Ability 2 [Light Vanquisher] and ultimate ability [Elegant Sword], hoping to make him more of a threat in the late game.
Ability 2 [Light Vanquisher]:
Adjusted the damage bonus of the second slash of the Demon Hand from (+110% Attack) to (+115% Attack).
Ultimate Ability [Elegant Sword]:
Adjusted the physical damage bonus of the third slash from (+120% Bonus Attack) to (+125% Bonus Attack).
Adjusted the True Damage bonus when the target's or Onikiri's HP is below 50% from (+132% Bonus Attack) to (+140% Bonus Attack).
4. Kusa
As a Support shikigami with strong healing capabilities, Kusa's performance in the laning phase is somewhat lackluster, making it hard to provide a significant advantage to teammates through continuous healing. To address this, we've slightly increased the base healing of Ability 1 [Flower Power], hoping to enhance Kusa's laning effectiveness.
Ability 1 [Flower Power]:
Adjusted base recovery per healing from 30/45/60/75/90 to 35/55/75/95/115.
5. Kanko
As a Marksman shikigami who relies heavily on abilities for damage, Kanko is relatively weak in the early and mid-game laning phase due to low scaling from ability levels and insufficient damage from his level 1 ultimate ability. To address this, we've increased the scaling of Ability 1 [Fire Bomb] and Ability 2 [Bamboo Missiles], as well as the early and mid-game damage of his ultimate ability [Bamboo Blast], hoping to improve Kanko's laning experience.
Ability 1 [Fire Bomb]:
Adjusted base damage from 40/80/120/160/200 to 40/100/160/220/280.
Ability 2 [Bamboo Missiles]:
Adjusted base damage per shell from 20/50/80/110/140 to 20/70/120/170/220.
Ultimate Ability [Bamboo Blast]:
Adjusted base damage from 40/115/190 to 60/125/190.
6. Higanbana
After the last balance adjustment, Higanbana's ability to seal single enemies returned to a normal level for a Mage Shikigami. However, her group damage and survivability remained relatively high, making her overall strength too powerful. To address this, we've reduced the detonation damage of [Flower Seal] and the healing from the Natural Passive [Blooming Earth] to bring her power back to a balanced level.
Natural Passive [Blooming Earth]:
Reduced recovery from 5 (+35% Ability Power) (+10*Current Level) to 5 (+20% Ability Power) (+6*Current Level).
Ability 1 [Deadly Blooms]:
Adjusted Flower Seal detonation damage from 70/110/150/190/230 (+42.5% Ability Power) to 70/100/130/160/190 (+35% Ability Power).
7. Aoandon
As a Mage shikigami who relies on basic attack damage, Aoandon lacks self-protection abilities, resulting in subpar performance. To address this, we've added a way for her to use MP for self-protection, hoping to improve her overall effectiveness.
Natural Trait [Lantern Support]:
When your health drops to 20%, consumes 50% of the caster's MP to generate a shield to absorb the damage and gains a 40% speed boost that diminishes over 3s.
8. Kamaitachi
Natural Passive [Beat Down]
Reduced item trigger coefficient from 1 to 0.6; reduced item trigger coefficient during the ultimate ability from 0.8 to 0.4.
Ability 1 [Bond Power]:
Before adjustment: The next three basic attacks gain bonus damage and a 20% Attack Speed increase.
After adjustment: Basic attacks within 4s will be enhanced.
Ability 2 [United]
Adjusted damage from 70/100/130/160/190 (+60% Ability Power) (+9% of target's current HP) to 70/100/130/160/190 (+80% extra Attack) (+9% of target's current HP).
Adjusted cooldown from 8/7.5/7/6.5/6 to 10s.
Ability 3 [Underground Travel]:
Cooldown adjusted from 20/19/18/17/16 to 13/12/11/10/9.
Increased HP regen per second from 2%/2.5%/3%/3.5%/4% to 4%.
Reduced the duration from 8s to 5s.
9. Dodomeki
As a Marksman shikigami, Dodomeki struggles in disadvantaged situations due to insufficient minion clearing ability. To address this, we've slightly increased the second-stage base damage of her Ability 1 [Flaming Eye], hoping to improve her performance in challenging scenarios.
Ability 1 [Flaming Eye]:
Increased second-stage base damage from 30/40/50/60/70 to 30/60/90/120/150.
10. Taishakuten
As a Mage shikigami, Taishakuten's damage output in the mid to late-game is somewhat low in disadvantaged situations, leading to poor performance. To address this, we've slightly increased the damage of his Ability 2 [Flawless Lotus] and ultimate ability [Instant Lotus Bloom], while also reducing the cooldown of [Flawless Lotus]. We hope these changes will enhance Taishakuten's DPS capabilities.
Ability 2 [Flawless Lotus]:
Adjusted cooldown from 10/9.75/9.5/9.25/9s to 10/9.5/9/8.5/8s.
Adjusted base damage of triggered marks from 80/110/140/170/200 to 80/120/160/200/240.
Ultimate Ability [Instant Lotus Bloom]:
Damage increased from 120/180/240 (+42.5% Ability Power) to 150/215/280 (+47.5% Ability Power).
11. Kujira
Kujira's mid-game strength is currently too high, with the percentage and base damage of Ability 1 [Whale Bone: Open] being somewhat excessive. To address this, we've reduced the mid-game damage of this ability, hoping to bring Kujira's strength back to a more balanced level.
Ability 1 [Whale Bone: Open]:
Adjusted bonus damage in the center from 25/60/95/130/165 (+80% Bonus Attack) (+6%/7%/8%/9%/10% target's max HP, increasing by 1% for every 125 Bonus Attack) to 25/50/75/100/125 (+80% Bonus Attack) (+6% target's max HP, increasing by 1% for every 125 Bonus Attack).
[Free Shikigami Lineup Adjustments]
We will change the lineup of the limited-time free shikigami at 5:00 AM on 9/9. The new free shikigami will be Suzuka Gozen, Shouzu, Jinmenju, Yumekui, Taishakuten, Hana, Aori, and Hakuzosu.
Onmyoji who own the God of Fortune Month Pact will have the additional free shikigami, Nekomata and Vampira.
Of these Shikigamis, Hakuzosu has a difficulty of Extreme. Onmyoji who have been in Heian-kyo for less than 7 days can't use him in battle for free.
