[Balance Adjustments]
1. Kosodenote
Kosodenote's damage output depends heavily on how accurately her Ability 1 [Hidden Sting] hits. To address this, we've adjusted it to target specific enemies, improving both accuracy and consistency. Additionally, Kosodenote struggles in late-game team fights and survivability. To help her endure longer battles, we've shifted some of her damage into durability. Finally, we've improved the auto-attack mechanism of Ability 3. It now better targets intended enemies, and we've also fixed the issue where chaining abilities interrupted basic attack damage. With these adjustments, we hope Kosodenote will perform more effectively overall.
Shikigami positioning: Ninja → Ninja/Samurai
Issue Fix: Fixed the issue where Kosodenote's basic attack damage was interrupted when quickly chaining other abilities after a basic attack.
Ability 1 [Hidden Sting]:
Ability 1 has been adjusted to allow targeted casting. It can now be used on monsters and enemy shikigami, with Smart Casting automatically prioritizing the closest target.
The damage percentage of target's max HP increased from +(2%/3%/4%/5%/6% (1% increase per 80 Bonus Attack)) to (2%/3%/4%/5%/6% (1% increase per 200 Bonus Attack)).
HP recovery percentage increased from 8 (+10% Bonus Attack) (+3 Current Level) to 8 (+10% HP Lost) (+10% Bonus Attack) (+3 Current Level).
Ability 2 [Critical Sting]:
Increased damage dealt to lanes from 100% to 150%.
Ability 3 [Flying Sting]:
Cooldown adjusted from 14 to 14/13.5/13/12.5/12s.
Logic Adjustment: Optimized the auto basic attack logic for Kosodenote's Ability 3. Now it will only auto-attack enemies with weaknesses.
2. Kaoru: Second Evolution
Kaoru's strength in the Second Evolution has remained somewhat high after the last adjustment, especially during the early to mid game on the top lane. As a result, we have reduced the damage of Ability 1 and increased the early cooldown of Ability 3 [Owly's Protection].
Ability 1 [Pebble Pelt]:
Damage reduced from 30/65/100/135/170 to 20/50/80/110/140.
Enhanced ability damage reduced from 90/150/210/270/330 to 80/135/190/245/300.
Ability 3 [Owly's Protection]:
Cooldown increased from 14/13/12/11/10 to 20/17.5/15/12.5/10.
3. Ootengu
Ootengu’s burst damage from a full ability rotation in the mid game is currently too high, leading to a poor experience for opponents. To address this, we've slightly reduced the damage triggered by his passive, [Tengu Path], to maintain a balanced power level.
Natural Passive [Tengu Path]:
Damage level bonus reduced from (+22*Current Level) to (+17*Current Level).
4. Shuten Doji
Shuten Doji's dominance in the top lane has made it difficult for other shikigami to stand against him. To address this, we've reduced the HP restored by his basic attack hits from Ability 1 [Lament], aiming to improve the experience for those facing him.
Ability 1 [Lament]:
Adjusted HP recovery per basic attack hit in normal state from 3/6/9/12/15 (+1.5%/1.8%/2.1%/2.4%/2.7% Max HP) (+17.5% Bonus Attack) to 2.5/5/7.5/10/12.5 (+1.3%/1.55%/1.8%/2.05%/2.3% Max HP) (+17.5% Bonus Attack).
Adjusted HP recovery per basic attack hit in [Rage] state from 6/12/18/24/30 (+3%/3.6%/4.2%/4.8%/5.4% Max HP) (+35% Bonus Attack) to 5/10/15/20/25 (+2.6%/3.1%/3.6%/4.1%/4.6% Max HP) (+35% Bonus Attack).
Reduced HP recovery reduction coefficient against non-shikigami units from 75% to 60%.
5. Ichimokuren
Ichimokuren's strength in the bottom lane during the early to mid game has been a bit too high, frequently giving him an edge in duo matchups. To address this, we've reduced the base damage and Slow effect of his Ability 1 [Wind Amulet: Damage], and increased its cooldown. These changes aim to bring his power back into a more balanced range.
Ability 1 [Wind Amulet: Damage]:
Adjusted cooldown from 7/6.5/6/5.5/5s to 8/7.5/7/6.5/6s.
Reduced base damage of the third Wind Blade hit from 55/95/135/175/215 to 55/85/115/145/175.
Mark detonation base damage reduced from 50 (+8*Level) to 40 (+6*Level).
Reduced Slow effect from 50%/52.5%/55%/57.5%/60% to a fixed 50%.
6. Aobozu
As a Samurai shikigami, Aobozu's current durability is on the frail side, making him less forgiving in skirmishes. His damage output in Demonbane Form also feels underwhelming. To improve his overall performance, we have increased his base HP, HP growth, and the base damage of Ability 2 [Divine Greatness] in Demonbane Form, aiming to enhance his gameplay experience.
Base HP increased from 864 to 906, and HP growth per level increased from 161.25 to 176.
Demonbane Form Ability 2 [Divine Greatness]
Base damage increased from 80/130/180/230/280 to 80/140/200/260/320.
Bonus damage increased from 160/260/360/460/560 to 160/280/400/520/640.
7. Kyuumei Neko
Kyuumei Neko has been performing strongly as a jungler for some time now. Her late-game synergy between Premium Reward and her ability to kill allows her to secure a substantial economic advantage, making her difficult to counter. To address this, we've slightly reduced her damage output, hoping her Razor Claws won't be quite as unstoppable.
Trait [Nine Lives]
CRIT effect reduced from 195% at all levels to 180% (+0.5*Current Level).
8. Second Evolution Futakuchi
With the Second Evolution, Futakuchi's mid-game performance is somewhat lacking compared to other similar shikigami. Her ultimate ability, which has the potential to seal shikigami consecutively, hasn't been as impactful as expected in team fights. To address this, we have slightly increased the damage of her Passive Mark and adjusted both the cooldown and damage of her ultimate ability.
Second Evolution Trait [Gonna Blow]:
Mark damage level bonus increased from 3.5 to 4.5 per stack.
Second Evolution: Ultimate Ability [I'm Sorry!]:
Cooldown reduced from 40s at all levels to 35s at all levels.
Non-slay damage adjusted from 150/200/250 (+60% Attack) (+12% of target's HP lost) to 150/250/350 (+80% Attack) (+8% of target's HP lost).
9、Dodomeki
Passive [Ghost Eyes]:
Level growth increased from 4.5 to 5.25, additional attack bonus increased from 20% to 22.5%.
9. Premium Reward
The bonus B.P. granted by Premium Reward is currently too high, enabling certain Ninja-type shikigami to quickly gain and continuously grow an economic advantage, which creates a negative experience for the opposing team. To address this, we have lowered the B.P. earned from each monster kill, aiming to preserve Premium Reward's ability to provide extra income while reducing the chances of the jungle position becoming overly dominant in terms of economy.
B.P. per stack for killing non-large monsters reduced from 30 to 25, and from 100 to 80 for large monsters.
10. Precision Hunt
The current conditions for triggering Precision Hunt are overly lenient for solo lanes. Using Precision Hunt for mid-to-long-range pokes in solo lanes has left targets with few options to counter. To address this, we've added an effective range limit and adjusted the ability's cooldown for both early and late game.
Precision Hunt now only affects enemy shikigami within a 600-yard range of the caster.
Cooldown adjusted from 18s at all levels to 21/19/17/15s (changes at levels 1/6/11/16).
11. Occult: Giant Spirit
Occult: Giant Spirit's effectiveness varies too much between the early and late game. It struggles against late-game opponents with strong damage output, yet it feels too powerful in early-game team fights. To address this, we have adjusted its early- and late-game effectiveness, hoping to ensure it remains relevant and balanced throughout all phases of the Heian-kyo battlefield.
Each stack of Shield HP adjusted from 0.4% Max HP to 0.28%-0.52% Max HP (scales with level).

We will change the lineup of the limited-time free shikigami at 5:00 AM on Monday (03/03). The new free shikigami will be Mahamayuri, Umibozu, Jorogumo, Mannendake, Enenra, Shouzu, Yamakaze, and Kamaitachi.
Onmyoji who own the God of Fortune Month Pact will have the additional free shikigami, Kidomaru and Ibaraki Doji.
Of these shikigami, Yamakaze and Kamaitachi have a difficulty of Extreme. Onmyoji who have been in Heian-kyo for less than 7 days can't use them in battle for free.
