[Item Interface Adjustments]
We have made improvements to the item interface in two key areas: simplifying interactions to make them more intuitive and reducing the learning curve so players can quickly familiarize themselves with item functionality.
In-Match Item Interface:
1. Optimized display: Combined the preorder and current item queues, and enhanced the font clarity for item tags and descriptions.
2. Smart item recommendations: Introduced intelligent suggestions for the next item, leveraging big data and current builds to identify the best match for the shikigami. The system also recommends items that counter enemy shikigami traits.
3. Item adjustment indicators: Added visual indicators for recent item changes, allowing players to view detailed adjustments with a simple tap.
Out-of-Match Item Interface:
1. Optimized layout: Moved the layout adjustment and Fusion Recipe buttons to the primary interface for easier access.
2. Optimized text clarity: Enhanced the font clarity for item tags and descriptions.
3. Item adjustment indicators: Provided a dedicated section for viewing recent item changes, along with clear visual indicators for updated items.
Okami Suggested Items Interface:
1. Added tags for new set options, including Second Evolution, Buddha Aobozu, and Demon Aobozu.
2. Added tags for different playstyles, allowing players to select item sets that align with their preferred style.
3. Added expand and collapse buttons for item sets, making it easier to compare their differences.
4. Added the feature to switch suggested item sets in-game.
[Battle Adjustments]
1. Endurance Stats Adjustments
In the current version, we noticed a growing imbalance in combat dynamics: excessive burst damage is shortening the average survival time of certain shikigami in team fights, shrinking reaction windows and limiting strategic depth. To address this, we've decided to increase the growth of endurance-related stats for all shikigami, giving players more opportunities to maneuver and strategize during team fights. At the same time, we want to maintain the current laning experience and avoid making the sealing conditions in the early phase too strict. For that reason, we haven't changed base stats, only the HP and Armor and Magic Resist growth per level. This approach is intended to create more engaging, drawn-out team fights. In addition, we've made some adjustments to equipment, reducing the HP Steal, shielding, and healing effects provided by certain items. This ensures that no single shikigami becomes overly difficult to seal in extended battles.
All shikigami will undergo the following Durability adjustments:
HP Growth 1.2, Armor Growth 1.2, Magic Resist Growth *1.2.
We understand that increased endurance may lead to longer matches, but our goal is to ensure that players spend that time engaging in strategic battles, not endlessly running around the map. To support this, we've extended the duration of the Seimei Well's Haste effect. The Haste effect will only expire once a shikigami moves close to an enemy lane or enters combat.
New Mechanic: After returning, the Haste effect gained after leaving Seimei Well is extended to 20s. The Haste effect will only expire when the shikigami moves near the enemy lane or enters combat.
We've observed that top solo shikigami often struggle to counter the dominance of many early-game ranged shikigami in the current environment. To address this, we plan to make targeted adjustments to their base stats, focusing on boosting early-game endurance. With enhanced resilience at the start of a match, top solo shikigami will be better equipped to handle ranged pressure, endure tougher fights, and gain more freedom in how they play and build their items. Additionally, we've taken steps to improve the early-game performance of Samurai shikigami. Historically, they've lacked the impact to pose a meaningful threat during the initial stages of the game. To remedy this, we've increased their base attack damage. We believe these changes will allow Samurai shikigami to make a stronger showing on the Heian-kyo battlefield.

2. Jungle Mechanism Adjustments
We're also placing a strong focus on improving the jungle shikigami's farming experience. Right now, we've noticed a significant gap in kills and economy between the winning and losing sides in the jungle lane. Junglers on the losing side often struggle to have an enjoyable gameplay experience. Meanwhile, early jungle clearing tends to be quite slow, forcing junglers to spend a lot of time fighting neutral monsters. This slows down their early-game tempo and makes it harder to coordinate timely attacks. If an attack on a lane shikigami fails, the jungler's economy and jungle rhythm can take a big hit, creating a vicious cycle that's hard to recover from.
In this round of jungle adjustments, we're aiming to address the issues mentioned above by refining jungle mechanics. Our goal is to help junglers leave the jungle earlier and take control of the game's tempo, while also reducing the punishment for failed attacks. This should encourage junglers to play more boldly. To support this, we've introduced a new mechanic: [Hunt Reserve]. When carrying a jungle knife, players will automatically accumulate Hunt Reserve stacks over time. These stacks can be consumed after defeating jungle monsters to gain rewards. We've also shifted part of the income normally earned from defeating jungle monsters into this new system. This change is intended to reduce the need for constant jungle clearing and ensure that junglers can continue developing even after an unsuccessful attack—by gaining reliable income when they return to the jungle.
In addition, we've slightly increased the damage scaling of Subdue with level, so that junglers can have better control over neutral objectives in the mid to late game. As a balancing measure, we've lowered the base HP of small neutral monsters in the early game, while increasing the max HP of jungle monsters later in the game. This is intended to slow down snowballing and maintain a more balanced game pace.
New [Hunt Reserve] Mechanic:
When carrying a jungle knife, you can automatically accumulate stacks over time (7 stacks every 10s), up to 140 stacks. When you defeat a monster, you will gain Coins based on the number of stacks.
Income from sealing monsters has been reduced from 98 to 76.
Subdue damage level bonus has been increased from 43 to 54.
Adjustment to small neutral monsters' HP:
Adjusted from growing to max HP in 10 minutes to growing to max HP in 15 minutes.
Parasite: 2,853 (+300.4/min)→2,653 (+272.1/min)
Large Nurikabe: 2,853 (+300.4/min)→2,653 (+272.1/min)
Kirin: 3,138 (+330.4/min)→2,918 (+299.3/min)
Karakasa: 2,568 (+270.2/min)→2,388 (+244.8/min)
Red Imp: 2,568 (+270.2/min)→2,388 (+244.8/min)
Daruma: 3,081 (+324.4/min)→2,865 (+293.8/min)
3. New and Adjusted Items
We've also taken note of the community's feedback regarding item-related issues. In the current version, some items suffer from problems such as limited build flexibility, unclear item roles, or overly dominant cost-effectiveness. To address these, we're planning a broad round of item adjustments and optimizations in the new season. Our main goals are as follows:
1. Greater flexibility and freedom in item builds, allowing for more diverse options in both item order and combinations.
2. Better cost-performance balance across items, with adjustments to both high pick-rate/high value items and those that are underperforming or rarely chosen.
3. Fixing frustrating item experiences, while clarifying the intended roles of certain items and adjusting or temporarily removing items with overlapping functions.
4. Introducing new items, aimed at delivering fresh build paths and gameplay experiences.
5. Improving laning for melee shikigami, especially against ranged suppression, by adding early-game defensive Samurai-type items for sustain and Samurai-type items for stronger early trades.
6. UI improvements to the item system, with enhanced layout and interaction for a better experience.
Based on the goals mentioned above, here are the detailed item system changes coming in the new season:
[Cooldown Calculation Method Update]
First, we're changing how cooldown reduction is calculated. The new system uses a linear scaling model and removes the previous cap on cooldown reduction. Under the old system, cooldowns were reduced by a fixed percentage, encouraging players to hit a specific threshold (typically 40%) to get full value. The new formula smooths out the cooldown reduction benefits, making them scale more evenly and allowing for more flexible build paths.
New Cooldown Formula:
Actual Cooldown = Base Cooldown / (1 + Cooldown Reduction / 100)

[Item Adjustments]
1. Mage Item Adjustments

3. Adjusted the effects of certain item attributes to make them easier to use or broaden their use cases, increasing their overall competitiveness.

Ninja Item Adjustments
1. The fixed ability damage boost on Ninja-type items will be replaced with flat Armor Penetration, enhancing their effectiveness against low-armor targets. This ensures that even in a situation where overall endurance is higher, these items can still pose a real threat to squishy enemies.
2. We'll be adding a mix of flat Armor Penetration, Cooldown Reduction, and high Attack Damage to various Ninja-type items. At the same time, the cost-effectiveness of Nature's Glory will be slightly reduced. These changes aim to give players more flexibility in build order and allow them to choose based on item effects rather than being locked into a specific path.
3. We're introducing new Ninja items with unique effects to expand build variety. These include gear that specifically counters shields and buffs, making sure Ninja shikigami remain impactful even against heavily buffed teams, as well as items that boost mobility.
4. A new Subdue-switching mechanic is also on the way. After carrying three types of jungle knives and upgrading Subdue, players will be able to switch their Subdue type every 5 minutes at the Seimei Well, offering more strategic depth and adaptability in matches.

Samurai Item Adjustments
1. We've reduced the cost-effectiveness of certain high-pick-rate Samurai items, while adjusting or improving items with lower cost-effectiveness. These changes aim to balance the overall value of Samurai-type items, allowing for greater flexibility in build choices and order, and giving players more freedom in their item selection.
2. With the overall increase in endurance this season, Samurai shikigami—known for their strong sustained damage—will have more chances to stand out. With higher base endurance, Samurai characters will be able to adapt their builds more freely based on their own traits and the state of the match. This could include: armor-penetration items to pressure squishier enemies, Tank-oriented items to boost survivability, early-game dueling items for strong lane trades, or situation-specific counter items.
3. We've also adjusted and optimized the effects of several Samurai items to improve their competitiveness, especially those with low pick rates. In addition, new items tailored for Samurai shikigami will be introduced, further expanding viable build options and combinations.
