Balance Adjustments
1. All Out
All Out is an Onmyodo with a long cooldown that provides a strong counter-kill potential, designed for a high-impact experience. However, its current effect is a bit underwhelming, as low HP makes successful counter-kills less likely. To improve this, we'll slightly increase the HP percentage after resurrection.
HP regenerated adjusted from 30% HP lost to 40% HP lost.
2. Suppression
We hope that Samurai shikigami with Suppression will have a better chance to continuously seal enemy shikigami in teamfights. However, the overall benefits of Suppression are currently lacking, so we'll be slightly increasing its HP regeneration.
HP regen adjusted from (+10% max HP) to (+15% max HP).
3. Magic Break
Smilar to Suppression, Magic Break is an Onmyodo designed to help Marksman shikigami secure kills in teamfights. However, its benefits are currently insufficient, so we'll be slightly increasing the Movement Speed and Attack Speed buffs it provides.
Movement Speed boost increased from 70% to 100%, and Attack Speed boost increased from 50% to 60%.
4. Bind
Currently, Bind is a bit too broadly applicable, affecting both enemy damage and mobility. We'll adjust its performance in restricting enemy mobility and pursuit, so it focuses more specifically on reducing the enemy's single-target damage capabilities.
Slow effect has been reduced from 40% to 25%.
Removed the Haste Effect when the caster moves towards enemy shikigami.
5. Shikigami Positioning Adjustment
After reviewing the performance of existing shikigami, we found that some struggle to adapt to the new Onmyodo—particularly Tank shikigami lacking control abilities and those with hybrid playstyles. To support more diverse playstyles, we'll continue to monitor and adjust the positioning of certain shikigami.
Ryomen: Added Tank positioning
Zashiki: Added Samurai positioning
6. Kingyo: Second Evolution
We want Kingyo's Second Evolution to reduce her sustained output during her ultimate ability while boosting her burst potential. However, her early- and mid-game burst capabilities are currently too weak, and the trigger conditions for her Passive are too strict, making it hard to pressure enemies in these stages. To address this, we'll increase the damage of some early- and mid-game abilities and ease the trigger requirements for her Passive.
Natural Passive [Goldfish: Assistance]:
The HP threshold for triggering has been increased from 20% to 40%, and the water bubble launch delay has been reduced.
Base damage increased from 30 to 50.
The damage coefficient against minions has been reduced from 200% to 250%.
Ability 2 [Fan Dance: Water Wave]:
Base damage increased from 100/170/240/310/380 to 120/185/250/315/380.
Ultimate Ability [Goldfish Sentinel]:
Base damage increased from 180/270/360 to 240/300/360.
7. Susanoo
Among Samurai shikigami, Susanoo has relatively slow resource acquisition during the early and mid-game farming phases. However, his mobility, output, and survivability in the mid to late game far surpass other Samurai shikigami, leading to extreme match situations. To balance this, we'll boost his early game jungling speed and damage while slightly reducing his late-game scaling.
Natural Passive [Divine Fury]:
The damage bonus of the first basic attack has been reduced from 100% to 90%.
For subsequent triggers, each basic attack's single-hit damage requirement has been reduced from 55% Attack (+0.3% of the target's max HP for every 200 Attack) to 8 (+45% Attack (+0.5% of the target's max HP for every 300 Attack)), and the damage coefficient against monsters has been increased from 90% to 100%.
Ability 1 [Thunder]:
Base damage increased from 20/55/90/125/160 to 25/65/105/145/185.
8. Kainin
Kainin’s burst capability is currently too high for a Ninja shikigami, with relatively short downtimes that make it hard for opponents to counter effectively. We'll be slightly reducing the burst potential of Kainin's minor abilities.
Ability 2 [Shadow Strike]:
End damage adjusted from 70/115/160/205/250 (+75% Bonus Attack) (+8% (1% increase for every 80 Bonus Attack) of target's HP Lost) to 60/95/130/165/200 (+65% Bonus Attack) (+6% (1% increase for every 80 Bonus Attack) of target's HP lost).
9. Kuro
Kuro's laning and teamfight capabilities are currently underwhelming, making his overall performance relatively weak. To address this, we'll slightly increase his damage output and damage reduction.
Passive [Scythe of Punishment]:
Passive damage reduction effect increased from 1% damage reduction for every 6% HP lost to 1% damage reduction for every 5% HP lost.
Ability 1 [Scythe of Punishment]:
Base damage increased from 70/100/130/160/190 to 80/120/160/200/240.
10. Takiyasha Hime
Takiyasha Hime is struggling in both the top lane and jungle roles. To help with her pre-mid game performance before key items are acquired, we'll slightly boost the base damage growth of her abilities.
Ability 1 [Whirlwind Moon]:
Inner circle base damage increased from 35/65/95/125/155 to 35/72.5/110/147.5/185.
Outer circle base damage increased from 70/130/190/250/310 to 70/145/220/295/370.
Ability 3 [Sleepless Moonrise]:
Base Shield adjusted from 100/125/150/175/200 to 100/135/170/205/240.
11. Suzuhime
We want Suzuhime to make use of her high mobility and decent survivability to sustain damage output. However, she's currently able to evade many control abilities through positioning, and her high Slow effect reduction makes it difficult for even accurate Slow abilities to impact her. To balance this, we'll slightly reduce her Slow effect reduction rate, allowing Slow abilities to affect her more.
Slow effect reduction at full stacks reduced from 80% to 50%.
12. Kuro Oni
Kuro Oni is currently underperforming in both the top lane and jungle, especially in the late game. To enhance his late-game threat, we are increasing the late-game damage of his innate passive [Soul Rend] and ultimate skill [Death Sentence].
Innate Passive [Soul Rend]:
Additional damage increased from 2 (+7 * current level) (+4% of target's maximum health) to 2 (+8 * current level) (+4.5% of target's maximum health).
Ultimate Skill [Death Sentence]:
Bonus attack damage from health trigger increased from (+140% bonus attack) to (+150% bonus attack).
