[Shikigami Adjustments]
Mushishi
Mushishi's versatile mechanics often lead to a frustrating experience for opponents. To address this, we'll reduce some of Mushishi's control abilities and adjust the hit mechanics of [Insects Awaken] in the [Returning Butterfly] state, giving opponents clearer opportunities to evade.
As compensation, the ultimate ability [Cleansing Dream] will be enhanced to offer a brief window of control removal and immunity, making it a more reliable counter against enemy crowd control. We aim for this change to stabilize the ultimate ability's protective effects and make it a key part of counter strategies, delivering strong results.
Meanwhile, we'll improve Mushishi's overall experience by adjusting cooldowns, stack limits, and ability usability, while also introducing new damage options to enhance the gameplay experience.
Trait [Dream of Metamorphosis]
In the [Butterfly Dream] state, her bonus HP will be converted into Ability Power at a certain ratio, and it provides bonus Armor and Magic Resist to teammates.
In the [Self-actualization] state, her Ability Power will be converted into bonus HP at a certain ratio.
At regular intervals, performs two enhanced basic attacks that deal bonus damage to enemies while gaining [Insect Trace].
New Mechanic:
In the [Butterfly Dream] state, provides Armor and MRes to teammates.
Enhanced basic attacks grant [Insect Trace].
Ability 1 [Insects Awaken]
Mushishi exits the [Butterfly Dream] state, lands at the designated area, and enters the [Self-actualization] state.
At regular intervals, her next [Insects Awaken] will be enhanced. Mushishi leaps to slow enemies in the selected area.
When using [Insects Awaken] in the [Returning Butterfly] state, Mushishi will circle around, dealing damage and inflicting a Slow effect on enemies within range while gaining [Insect Trace].
Mechanics Adjustments:
Enhanced [Insects Awaken]: Exiting the [Butterfly Dream] state will no longer cause Knockup but will instead inflict Slow.
When using [Insects Awaken] in the [Returning Butterfly] state: Mushishi now circles around in place, dealing damage and inflicting a Slow effect on enemies within range, while gaining Insect Trace.
Ability 2 [Returning Butterfly]
[Insect Trace]: When Mushishi is attached to a shikigami, she will restore HP to the attached shikigami based on the number of Insect Trace stacks. Active: Mushishi flies in the direction of the joystick for a certain period.
When using [Insects Awaken] in the [Returning Butterfly] state, Mushishi will circle around, dealing damage and inflicting a Slow effect on units within range. She gains [Insect Trace] when an enemy shikigami is hit.
Mechanics Adjustments:
In the [Returning Butterfly] state, colliding with enemy shikigami will no longer deal damage to them. Touching the boundary during flight will no longer forcibly end the flight prematurely.
[Insect Trace] stack limit increased to 12.
Ability 2 [ Among Flowers]
Mushishi rushes in the designated direction for a short distance and leaves a trail of pollen. After a short delay, it deals damage to enemies within range and inflicts Immobilize on them.
Mechanics Adjustments: Slow changed to Immobilize
Ability 3 [Insect Dance]
Mushishi inflicts damage on enemies she touches and gains Shield.
Mechanics Adjustments:
The shield duration has been increased, and the Slow effect inflicted when touching enemies has been removed. The shield amount gained after touching enemies during this period has been reduced to x2.
Ultimate Ability [Cleansing Dream]
Mechanics Adjustments:
Mushishi instantly removes any debuffs from nearby ally shikigami when casting an ability, and provides a temporary immunity to control effects. At the same time, she generates a dim light to illuminate the surrounding area, continuously granting a Haste effect to ally shikigami within range.
[Balance Adjustments]
1. Enma
As a Marksman shikigami, Enma currently takes too long to farm, which reduces her strength and damage output during the mid-game. To address this, we've slightly increased the power of her ultimate ability [Crushed Grievances] in the mid-game, hoping this will help Enma perform more competitively during that phase.
Ultimate Ability [Crushed Grievances]:
Ultimate ability damage increased from 8/10/14/18 (+35% Attack) (+14% Ability Power) (+0.33%/0.55%/0.77%/0.99% (increases by 1% for every 400 Ability Power) target's max HP) to 8/18/24/30 (+40% Attack) (+14% Ability Power) (+0.33%/0.55%/0.77%/0.99% (increases by 1% for every 400 Ability Power) target's max HP).
2. Enma: Second Evolution
Enma's Second Evolution offers strong burst potential, but her mid-game strength and damage output are lacking. We also aim to make it easier for players to transition in and out of the Pressured state, giving more flexibility to use other abilities between casts.
Ultimate Ability [Crushed Grievances]:
Activating Pressured state no longer requires Spirit, with cooldown reduced from 5s to 1s
3. Hana: Second Evolution
Hana's performance in her Second Evolution, particularly in the mid lane, hasn't met our expectations. To improve this, we've increased the Ability Power bonuses for her skills in the Second Evolution state and boosted the speed boost from her Ability 2 [Painting Realm]. We hope these changes will enhance her damage output and engagement potential.
Second Evolution Ability 1 [Loyal Flock]:
1st stage damage bonus increased from (+30% Ability Power) to (+37.5% Ability Power).
2nd stage damage bonus increased from (+60% Ability Power) to (+75% Ability Power).
Second Evolution Ability 2 [Painting Realm]:
Damage bonus increased from (+35% Ability Power) to (+38.5% Ability Power).
Haste effect increased from 40% to 50%.
Second Evolution Ability 3 [Nectar]:
1st stage damage bonus increased from (+25% Ability Power) to (+35% Ability Power).
2nd stage damage bonus increased from (+55% Ability Power) to (+65% Ability Power).
4. Yato no Kami
Yato no Kami has become too powerful recently. His Ability 2 [Life Seal] offers an excessive Attack Speed bonus, allowing him to quickly gain stacks and deal high damage even without item bonuses. To encourage him to rely more on gear items for Attack Speed, we've significantly reduced both the Attack Speed bonus and its duration from [Life Seal]. Also, we've lowered the Attack bonus of Ability 1 [Nighttime Invitation] to keep Yato no Kami's strength in a more balanced range.
Ability 1 [Nighttime Invitation]:
First slash damage bonus reduced from (+60% Attack) to (+55% Attack).
Subsequent slash damage bonus reduced from (+40% Attack) to (+38% Attack).
Final slash damage bonus reduced from (+90% Attack) to (+80% Attack).
Ability 2 [Life Seal]:
Attack Speed bonus reduced from 80%/95%/110%/125%/140% to 30%/40%/50%/60%/70%.
5. Senhime
As a Mage shikigami that relies on ranged harass for damage, Senhime has been underperforming in the current version. To address this, we've slightly reduced the cooldown of her Ability 1 [Thousand Tides], allowing her to harass more frequently. Also, we've added a Movement Speed bonus to her Natural Passive [Tidal Echo] during the wave-riding period, aiming to boost her support capabilities and better align the skill's performance with its intent.
Natural Passive [Tidal Echo]:
New Effect: Get 15% Movement Speed bonus during the wave-riding period.
Ability 1 [Thousand Tides]:
Reduced cooldown from 8/7.5/7/6.5/6s to 7/6.5/6/5.5/5s.
6. Karasu Tengu: Second Evolution
Karasu Tengu's Second Evolution ultimate ability has a low hit rate, limiting his effectiveness in team fights. To improve this, we've enhanced his control abilities, increased the hit rate of his ultimate ability [Deadly Flock], and adjusted the damage distribution by shifting some second-stage damage to the first stage. These changes aim to boost Karasu Tengu's overall performance.
Ability 2 [Nightmare Crow]: (Adjusted to match the speed reduction of the non-evolved version, but the duration is still shorter)
Slow effect increased from 10%/12.5%/15%/17.5%/20% to 20%/22.5%/25%/27.5%/30%.
Slow effect while running increased from 20%/25%/30%/35%/40% to 40%/45%/50%/55%/60%.
Ultimate Ability [Deadly Flock]:
Hitting with the 2nd stage applies a 30%/40%/50% Slow effect to enemy shikigami for 1s.
Cooldown per ability use reduced from 0.8s to 0.5s.
Range increased from 850 to 900 yards.
Base damage increased from 6/18/30 (+7% Bonus Attack) to 10/40/70 (+15% Bonus Attack).
Adjusted the 2nd stage damage from 75/240/405 (+70% Bonus Attack) to 30/120/210 (+45% Bonus Attack).
7. Miketsu
As a Marksman shikigami, Miketsu's damage and self-preservation abilities in the mid to late game have been somewhat lacking. To address this, we've increased the damage of her Natural Passive [Grain Spike], and boosted the Slow effect of her Ability 3 [Rain of Arrows], aiming to improve her late-game performance.
Natural Passive [Grain Spike]:
Damage increased from (+35*Level) (+10% lost HP) to (+40*Level) (+12% lost HP).
Ability 3 [Rain of Arrows]:
Slow effect increased from 30/32.5/35/37.5/40% to 30/37.5/45/52.5/60%.
8. Nekomata
As a Marksman shikigami, Nekomata's snowballing and suppression abilities in the mid-game have become a bit too strong. To balance this, we've slightly reduced the scaling benefits of her Ability 1 [Come in Kuro] and Ability 3 [Yuki Rush], aiming to bring her power back to a more reasonable level.
Ability 1 [Come in Kuro]:
Adjusted damage from 55/125/195/265/335 to55/105/155/205/255
9. Jinmenju
Jinmenju's dueling capability has been relatively weak in the current environment, leading to underwhelming overall performance. To address this, we've increased his damage, hoping to improve his performance in the current environment.
Natural Passive [Foreboding Flower]:
Increased passive damage from (10*Level) (+80% Attack) (+2% (increases by 1% every 50 Attack) target's max HP) to (15*Level) (+90% Attack) (+3% (increases by 1% every 50 Attack) target's max HP).
10. Ootengu
As a Mage shikigami, Ootengu has been somewhat weak in the early and mid-game, making it difficult for him to set the pace for his team. To improve this, we've slightly increased the base damage of his Natural Passive [Tengu Path] and his Ability 2 [Feather Shot] during these phases, hoping for stronger performance.
Natural Passive [Tengu Path]:
Increased base damage from 22.5 (+18*Level) to 35 (+22*Level).
Ability 2 [Feather Shot]:
Feather Shot base damage increased from 120/170/220/270/320 to 120/180/240/300/360.
Spell Circle base damage increased from 40/55/70/85/100 to 40/60/80/100/120.
11. Spirit Fish Protection
Spirit Fish Protection is currently underperforming. To make it a more viable choice for Tank and Support shikigami, we'll increase the Armor and Magic Resist it provides and reduce its cooldown time.
Cooldown reduced from 28s to 18s.
Increased Armor and Magic Resist from 50 (+62% Bonus Armor and Magic Resist) to 70 (+80% Bonus Armor and Magic Resist).
12. Prophecy: Divination
We want carriers of Prophecy: Divination to gain benefits even when they miss Last Hits. To achieve this, we've added a new mechanism where the carrier gains stacks when nearby enemy minions die. Also, we've adjusted the stack counts for Last Hits and rewards to reflect this change.
Increased Last Hit stack count from 1 to 2. Additionally, when a minion dies within 800 yards of the carrier, stack count +1.
Stack counts for rewards increased from 25/50/75/175 to 60/120/180/300.
13. Occult: Crossbow
We've noticed that Occult: Crossbow is still underperforming in the Heian-kyo Battlefield. To address this, we've increased its Attack Speed bonus, aiming to give Marksman shikigami carrying it greater offensive initiative.
Increased Attack Speed bonus from 80% (+2%*Level) to 110% (+4%*Level).
14. Extermination
Extermination, which reduces basic attack damage, has been underperforming in shorter damage windows. To improve this, we've increased Extermination's basic attack damage multiplier and extended the duration of the Attack Speed boost it provides. Also, we fixed an issue where the Attack Speed effect from Extermination lasted shorter than intended. We hope these changes make Extermination a more viable choice for more Marksman shikigami.
Single basic attack damage increased from 60% to 70%.
Attack Speed boost duration increased from 2.5s to 3.5s.
Fixed the issue of actual Attack Speed benefit being too low.
