[New Shikigami]
Her white hair flows freely, a wild light flickering in her eyes.
Twin fox-shaped guns blaze with fire, as if spirits dwell within.
Wherever she steps, disaster follows close behind.
She is the gods' watchful eye on this world, and the face of suffering itself.
Trait [Fire Hazard!]:
Rei's basic attack fires 2 fox ghost flames. Up to 1 additional target near the attacked enemy will also be hit by ghost flames.
Hitting with abilities grants [Ghost Energy], which increases Attack Speed. At full stacks, 5 ghost flames are fired.
Ability 1 [Double Scare]:
Rei fires two bullets dealing AoE damage. On hit, [Ghost Energy] is added to the caster.
Ability 2 [Demon Gate Opens]:
Rei raises a demon gate, blocking bullets and damage.
Moves after it ends.
Ability 3 [Surprise Tales]:
Rei fires a bullet that deals AoE damage on hit.
Moves after it ends.
Ultimate Ability [When Disaster Knocks]:
Rei maintains a fixed distance from the enemy and continuously deals damage.

[Shikigami Adjustments]
Amaterasu
Amaterasu currently has a fairly linear damage output and poor survivability. Additionally, when [Chains of Light] hits, it deals a large amount of unavoidable damage to multiple enemies, but Amaterasu does not get enough satisfaction or benefit from it. This update retains her core mechanics and combos, while removing some of the unavoidable AoE damage from [Chains of Light]. At the same time, [Takamagahara Statue] has been expanded with more flexible applications, introducing new playstyles and improving Amaterasu's burst, poke, and survivability.
Trait [Heavenly Radiance]
Damage dealt to the center area of the ultimate ability is increased. The extra magic damage is changed to true damage, and the level to learn this is adjusted from 11 to 16.
When a shikigami dies on the field, [Takamagahara Statue] will no longer be generated.
New: When Amaterasu reaches level 11, [Takamagahara Statue] will grant Amaterasu a burst of Movement Speed when it disappears.
Ability 1 [Divine Light]
Base damage increased. Repeated hits in the same area will only deal damage once.
New: After the radiant sword descends, it leaves a light orb at its original location for 4s.
[New] Ability 2 [Divine Radiance]
No longer generates Chains of Light. Only one [Takamagahara Statue] can exist on the field at a time.
New: The light orb will fire a projectile toward the [Takamagahara Statue], dealing magic damage and applying a Slow effect along the path. It will summon a radiant sword at both the statue's location and the hit shikigami's position. If the projectile hits a target linked by [Chains of Light], it will also fire toward the other linked target.
Shouzu
Shouzu has long held the highest ban rate among Shikigami. Her control-heavy abilities and synergy that counter displacement abilities make for a frustrating experience for opponents, limiting her chances of stable appearances. This update aims to optimize her instant chain controls and introduce new gameplay elements, while keeping her strength against movement abilities intact to give her a chance to return to the battlefield.
Ability 1: Water Bomb
Base damage increased.
Bounce damage no longer applies a Slow effect.
Ability 2 [Inciting Waves]
The knockback effect now uses a fixed distance instead of knocking back to the endpoint, and it can now be blocked by minions.
New: Knocked-back targets and units along the path will take magic damage and be heavily slowed. Knockback distance is greater against minions.
[New] Ability 3 [Tidal Wall]
Removed: The wall no longer inflict Knockup when generated.
New: Shouzu summons a water wall behind her and pushes it toward a selected location. Allied shikigami it touches will gain Movement Speed. Enemy shikigami it hits will take magic damage and be slowed. After reaching its destination, the water wall remains for 5s. While moving forward, it can still bounce back enemies using displacement abilities.
Kyuumei Neko
We've observed that Kyuumei Neko lacks flexible tools to handle different combat situations. Her gameplay relies too heavily on precise resource management and battlefield judgment. We hope to shift more of her strength toward combat mechanics by enhancing her in-fight performance. Based on feedback from the test server, to improve the reliability of her Ability 1 and strengthen her dueling capability, we've changed the ability from AoE to single-target damage to ensure consistent output.
Ability 1 [Revenge]:
Rework: Kyuumei Neko dashes toward the target, then leaps. She becomes untargetable during the leap for 0.6s.
At the end of the leap, deals physical damage to the target enemy.
Ability 2 [Razor Claws]:
New: The third claw strike now inflicts Immobilize.
Ability 3 [Pounce]:
Adjustment: Dash distance reduced. Gains a weak Endure while dashing. Now also applies a Slow effect on hit.
Ultimate Ability [Explosive Fur]:
Movement Speed increased. Now extends its duration after participating in a kill.
Ubume
Without Second Evolution, Ubume, as a Ninja shikigami, relies heavily on her own burst damage. This conflicts with the intended function of her original Ability 1 [Shadow Wing]. We've reworked her trait to give her stronger burst and threat even when not in Second Evolution.
Ability 1 [Shadow Wing] (when not in Second Evolution):
Rework: When Ubume's attacks or abilities damage enemies, a mark is applied (up to 4 stacks). At max stacks, her next attack or ability detonates the mark, dealing bonus damage, applying Slow to the enemy, and granting herself Haste.
Inugami
We've noticed that Inugami's Ability 1 [Power Up] presents too many choices in different situations, making it harder to use effectively during offense. We're simplifying this ability to make it easier to use both offensively and defensively. We've also optimized several mechanics to help Inugami perform better in combat.
Trait [Heart Blade]:
Pursuit no longer consumes Heart Blade charges.
Pursuit now deals damage three times, with total damage unchanged.
After sealing an enemy shikigami, instead of gaining the [Pursuit] effect on his next basic attack, Inugami now refreshes the cooldown of Ability 3 [Rising Wind].
Ability 1 [Power Up]:
Adjustment: The second phase can no longer be used to end the charge early. Maximum charge time reduced from 1.5s to 0.8s. After charging ends, the damage reduction will now persist for 0.5s, meaning the damage reduction effect will also apply while the blade hits enemy shikigami and during [Pursuit].
Ability 2: Sky Slash
New: Increased Attack Speed now reduces this ability's casting animation and back swing time.
Aoandon
Aoandon's damage output is overly stable, and improvements in player skill do not bring meaningful gains, making her gameplay feel dull over time. We're adding new mechanics that increase her ability ceiling without changing her familiar playstyle, making her a more engaging companion in battle.
Trait [Butterfly Shadow]:
New: After entering combat, charging will be based on the distance the caster moves. The more you charge, the higher the bonus damage dealt by the next attack, but it will also consume more MP.
Ability 1 [Lamp Light]:
Rework: Grants a brief burst of Movement Speed upon use, which is removed after using an ability or attacking.
Ability 2 [Ghostly Light]:
Adjustment: After a short delay, a wall appears that deals damage and applies a Slow effect. The wall's effective range and impact have been increased accordingly.
Ability 3 [Soul Drain]:
Adjustment: When absorbing enemy shikigami, a shield will be granted based on the number of shikigami absorbed.
Senhime
We've observed that Senhime's Ability 3 is too difficult and unstable to use, and her Ability 2 is rarely relevant in most situations. We aim to improve the usability and consistency of Ability 3, while adding some synergy between Abilities 2 and 3 to make them feel more integral to her kit. We also noticed that her ride-waving passive is hard to use effectively, so we've slightly improved her turning speed after triggering it to enhance overall gameplay experience.
Trait [Tidal Echo]
Turning speed is increased when used actively.
Ability 2 [Torrent of Illusory Seas]
Removed: The vortex no longer extends its travel distance each time it hits an enemy.
New: The vortex now disappears after hitting a shikigami or monster. If it touches coral generated by [Tide of Eternity] along its path, the vortex will absorb the coral and continue to expand. After hitting an enemy shikigami or reaching its maximum distance, the coral will drop and form a ring at the current location.
Ability 3 [Tide of Eternity]
Adjustment: The coral now scatters in a fixed X-shaped pattern with a total of 9 corals, instead of randomly scattering 5.
Kainin
We've noticed that Kainin's overall interaction experience is very poor. Her Ability 2 combined with her ultimate ability allows for instant kills, which creates an extremely negative experience for opponents. To address this, we are adjusting her ultimate ability: removing the control effect to allow for more counterplay, in exchange for increased flexibility. In addition, the bonus damage from Ability 2's outer ring overlaps with her trait's bonus damage mechanic, so we are considering removing the bonus damage from her trait.
Trait [Solo Ninja Scroll]
Removed: The effect where holding [Solo Power] increased the damage of the next ability to monsters and enemy shikigami to 1.2x.
Ability 3 [Back Stab]:
New: If the throwing star misses, you can use this ability again to teleport to the throwing star's location. The throwing star will remain at its destination for 1.5s.
Ultimate Ability [Instant Needle]:
Adjustment: The Knockback effect has been changed to a decaying Slow effect.
New: Within 5s after use, the next basic attack can dash through the target up to three times, dealing damage to units along the path.
Umibozu
Currently, as a defensive shikigami, Umibozu lacks initiative and has few tools to engage, often staying passive and relying on a reactive playstyle that is not popular. We aim to enhance Umibozu's offensive capabilities by adding a dash mechanic to his basic ability and allowing his ultimate ability to push waves from behind, helping him zone and trap opponents. In addition, his passive fish currently drop near the enemy target, which can be risky during the laning phase. We've adjusted this so the fish now drop near Umibozu himself, giving him a safer way to heal.
We are also updating Umibozu's Second Evolution by sacrificing some defensive capabilities in exchange for significantly increased initiation range.
Trait [Big Catch]
Adjustment: The sea fish summoned when dealing damage to enemy shikigami will now appear near Umibozu instead of near the enemy.
Ability 1 [Sashimi Snack]:
Rework: Umibozu charges forward on a wave, colliding with the first shikigami he hits, dealing magic damage and knocking up nearby enemies, while gaining Armor and Magic Resist. If he successfully hits a shikigami, 40% of the ability's cooldown is refunded.
Ultimate Ability [Tsunami]
Rework: Umibozu unleashes his special Tsunami ability, sending out a massive wave every 0.5s from behind him in the designated direction, for a total of three waves. Each wave deals magic damage and briefly knocks back enemies it hits along its path, and the area the waves pass through applies a Slow effect.
After enhancing the proactiveness of his ultimate ability, the difference between the regular and Second Evolution versions became less clear, so we have also updated the Second Evolution version accordingly.
Second Evolution Ultimate Ability [Tsunami]
Rework: Umibozu casts his special Tsunami ability, summoning a wall of water made up of five massive waves that surge forward in the designated direction. Each wave deals magic damage and applies a brief Knockup and Slow to the first enemy shikigami it hits. The Knockup only applies once per enemy. After hitting an enemy, each wave disappears.
Kaguya
As the first Support shikigami that new players encounter, Kaguya's original trait [Fire Rat Robe] had several issues: it relied on chance-based MP regeneration, which made it difficult to align with laning rhythm, and its effects were subtle, resulting in low impact. We want to redesign [Fire Rat Robe] based on its symbolic concept and Kaguya's support role, turning it into a more predictable and clearly effective tool in lane. In addition, we've increased the range of her enhanced basic attack after using Ability 1, so she can play more aggressively during laning.
Trait [Fire Rat Robe]
Reworked Effect: Kaguya gains a shield that refreshes periodically and enters cooldown after she is attacked. Hitting allied or enemy shikigami with enhanced basic attacks or abilities shortens the shield's cooldown. While active, the shield is automatically granted to the lowest-HP allied shikigami within range. It can be shared again after it refreshes.
Ability 1 [Horai Branch]
New Mechanic: After casting this ability, Kaguya's next basic attack against an enemy shikigami gains bonus attack range.
Orochi
We've found that Orochi's Ability 1 [Evil God's Gaze] uses a dual joystick system that lacks challenge for the user and feels cumbersome to operate, especially during pursuit. We aim to simplify the casting method, add ramping damage to reward sustained output, and enhance ability synergy and mobility—giving Orochi more versatile tools during combat.
Ability 1 [Evil God's Gaze]
Mechanic Adjustment: The ability now targets a selected enemy and deals damage to all units along the path, with damage decreasing for each additional enemy hit. If there are nearby enemies marked by Ability 2 [Serpent's Embrace], they will also be targeted. Shikigami with low HP may be executed.
New: During the duration of this ability, Ability 2 [Serpent's Embrace] and Ability 3 [Suppression of Evil] can be cast simultaneously.
Ability 2 [Serpent's Embrace]
Removed: The original Immobilize effect has been removed. Now applies a Slow and reveals the target's vision.
New: When hitting the first enemy shikigami, a mark is applied to them and nearby enemies, increasing the damage they take from [Evil God's Gaze].
Ability 3 [Suppression of Evil]
Removed: Charge system has been removed.
New: When a summoned unit is present on the field, you can recast this ability to dash to the location of the summoned unit. If the second cast is not used, part of the cooldown will be refunded.
Ultimate Ability [Devouring Hazama]
New: Grants control immunity immediately during the casting animation the ability.
Ittan-momen
In actual battles, Ittan-momen often creates frustrating gameplay experiences due to two extremes: either instantly killing an enemy after landing a hook and using her ultimate ability, or losing all combat power if the hook misses. To improve this, we've made adjustments to the counterplay of her third and fourth abilities. First, we've removed the control effect from Ability 3 and improved its usability and accuracy. Since this makes it harder to trigger back-attack effects, we've also removed the restriction that [Wrap] marks can only be applied from behind. Second, her ultimate ability was originally designed to enhance initiation, but we've reworked it to better support pursuing and finishing in combat. Lastly, we've improved Ability 2's effectiveness on repeated hits and against minions, making solo-lane builds more viable for Ittan-momen.
Trait [Entanglement]:
[Wrap] marks are no longer limited to back attacks. Now, each basic attack or ability that deals damage applies one stack of [Wrap].
Mechanic Adjustment: The condition for gaining the cotton rope has been changed from detonating the enemy's [Wrap] mark to sealing the enemy shikigami.
Mechanic Adjustment: The condition for triggering AoE Fear has been changed from sealing caused by detonation damage to simply sealing an enemy shikigami.
Ability 1 [Tangle Strike]
Healing increased.
Ability 2 [Woven Snow]:
Increased cast range, damage, and Slow effect. Added benefits for repeated hits and bonus damage against minions. Visual effect duration now better matches actual effect duration.
Ability 3 [Nocturnal]:
Improved hit rate. The second dash now travels farther and faster, and the cooldown has been reduced. While dashing, Ittan-momen gains Armor and Magic Resist. Hitting an enemy also applies a Slow.
Ability 4 [Scattering in the Night]:
Effect Rework: Ittan-momen ignites three scarlet flames around herself. After briefly becoming untargetable, she dashes toward a selected target that took damage within the last 5s and recalls the flames to deal damage. If the target is sealed, an AoE Fear effect is triggered.
Shuten Doji
As the demon leader who controls Oeyama, Shuten Doji's performance hasn't felt powerful or imposing enough. We're adjusting his ability mechanics and visuals to better reflect his fearsome image. His core gameplay—building up [Madness] through his passive and using it to enhance abilities—remains unchanged, but the effects of his enhanced abilities will now differ more distinctly. For example, Ability 1 will now lean toward healing and control rather than damage, while Ability 2 focuses on burst damage. This gives players more strategic options based on the situation.
Passive [Madness]
Removed: Hitting multiple units with basic attacks or abilities will no longer grant Madness repeatedly.
Ability 1: Lament
Stats Adjustment: Bonus damage from enhanced basic attacks reduced. Healing amount increased. Enhanced basic attacks now grant more Madness.
Mechanic Adjustment: While in Rage, the third basic attack now also inflicts Knockup.
Ability 2: Demonic Punch
In normal state, the ability now has a 0.5s casting animation. Its range and damage have been increased.
While in Rage: The range and damage are further increased, with bonus damage dealt to the center area. During the charge-up, Shuten Doji gains damage reduction.
Ability 3: Rampage
Optimized the ability indicator to clearly show that the detection range also includes the area behind Shuten Doji.
Stats Adjustment: Knockup duration reduced.
Ability 4: New Boss in Town
Now grants 50 Madness when activated.
Second Evolution: Enma
We've noticed a core issue with Second Evolution Enma's ultimate ability: she cannot use other abilities while dragging to aim. To address this, we're adding a feature that allows her to keep auto-firing briefly after releasing the joystick. This ensures she can cast other abilities without losing damage output.
Ultimate Ability [Crushed Grievances]:
Mechanic Adjustment: After releasing the joystick, Enma will continue auto-firing in the current direction for 0.6s (consuming at least one energy bar). During this window, she can freely use other abilities without interrupting the firing.
[Mix-up Fight in Hazama]
To continuously enhance the richness and strategic depth of the combat experience, we will implement a series of significant optimizations for the [Mix-up Fight in Hazama] mode. The specific updates are as follows:
1. Map Expansion: The original map space in the valley was relatively narrow, limiting the room for skill evasion and attack route selection. We have significantly expanded the overall map range, aiming to create a broader stage for Shikigami with different roles, such as melee fighters, assassins, and warriors.
2. Unique Map Elements: After the update, the map in Mix-up Fight in Hazama will feature random special effect zones in each match, similar to Ranked Match, directly influencing battles. For example: the water area in Ghostspring Valley provides a movement speed boost; the Namazu Pool in Stonepeak Hill grants Shikigami the ability to teleport over long distances; and the foggy terrain in Misty Gorge offers an Invisibility effect similar to bushes.
3. New Spell Abilities: We observed that the previously customized spell abilities for melee fighters and marksmen had limited practicality and did not fully meet expectations. This update introduces two new spell abilities specifically designed for melee Shikigami, enhancing their ability to engage in battle and control the battlefield:
Spell [Returning Birds]: Fires a bolt of lightning in a designated direction, marking the first enemy hit for 5 seconds. During this period, casting the ability again allows the Shikigami to dash quickly to the marked enemy.
Spell [Gap]: Grants the ability to walk through walls and a significant movement speed boost for several seconds. Using another ability or attacking will prematurely end this effect, teleporting the Shikigami to the nearest wall edge.
Additionally, the [Mix-up Fight in Hazama] mode will undergo maintenance on July 18 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. During the maintenance period, players will be unable to queue for matches. After the maintenance, the mode will be available for a limited-time, all-day access for one month. We welcome everyone to experience the all-new Hazama battles!
