【Shikigami Rework】

Aori

Aori's damage composition is heavily skewed toward unavoidable lock-on damage, creating an extreme gameplay experience where she either feels underwhelming or oppressive to opponents. Additionally, her design elements like Spell Vampire and zone-based combat are underutilized, and the two-stage displacement of [Arachnean Circle] lacks flexibility. We aim to redistribute some of her lock-on damage by introducing a skill that requires precision aiming, extending combat duration while preserving her kill potential. This will grant her sustained fighting capabilities and improve counterplay for opponents.

【New】Trait [Bewilder]

Using abilities grants Aori [Bewilder]. While active, her basic attacks against Shikigami fire talismans that deal magic damage, restore her HP, and increase her Movement Speed.

【New】Ability 1 [Cursed Light Talisman]

Aori fires multiple talismans in a fan-shaped area, dealing magic damage to hit targets. Units struck at maximum range take Bonus Damage and grant extra [Bewilder].

Ability 2 [Meteor Spider]

New: Casting now displaces Aori in the direction of the left joystick. If [Arachnean Circle] is active, the circle also shifts accordingly.

Ability 3 [Arachnean Circle]

No longer tracks damage dealt to other enemies within the circle—now amplifies total recorded damage against the primary target.

Displacement for caster and circle can no longer be reactivated.

[Balance Adjustments]

1. Oitsuki

Oitsuki's mid-game damage is underwhelming. As a Mage shikigami, her baseline output has felt insufficient. We've increased her damage so she can better perform in Heian-kyo.

Ability 1 [Inviting Moon]:

Damage increased from 80/120/160/200/240 to 90/140/190/240/290.

Ability 2 [Crescent Moon]:

Base damage increased from 80/120/160/200/240 to 80/130/180/230/280

Ultimate Ability [Clear Moon]:

Base damage increased from 250/450/650 to 325/525/725.

2. Taishakuten

Taishakuten's current damage output relies too heavily on his Passive, while the damage of his Ultimate Ability [Instant Lotus Bloom] has been insufficient. In addition, the Slow effect of Ability 2 [Flawless Lotus] has been too weak, making the ability feel underwhelming in combat. To address this, we've increased the damage of Taishakuten's Ultimate Ability [Instant Lotus Bloom] and extended the duration of the Slow effect on Ability 2 [Flawless Lotus].

Ability 2 [Flawless Lotus]:

Slow effect duration increased from 1.2s to 1.5s

Ultimate Ability [Instant Lotus Bloom]:

Base damage increased from 150/215/280 to 180/260/340

3. Mahamayuri

Mahamayuri's performance in mid-to-late game teamfights has been underwhelming. To improve her impact, we've increased the bonus Attack bonus in her abilities and strengthened her CRIT-based damage bonus, so she can shine more in extended battles.

Ability 1 [Feather Wind]: Extra Attack bonus increased from (+105% Bonus Attack) to (+125% Bonus Attack).

Ability 3 [Feather Flow]:

Ability damage scaling with Crit Rate increased from 0.7% per 1% Crit Rate to 0.9% per 1% Crit Rate.

Ultimate Ability [Confused Realm]:

Extra Attack bonus for additional damage increased from (+45% Bonus Attack) to (+55% Bonus Attack).

4. Rei

Rei has been too strong in the laning phase. Her Ability 3 [Surprise Tales] can frequently refresh its cooldown through basic attacks, and her Ability 2 [Demon Gate Opens] is overly reliable when defending against Bot lane duels or jungle ganks. To give opponents more counterplay opportunities, we've increased the cooldowns of these two abilities. We've also slightly reduced the early base damage of her Ultimate Ability [When Disaster Knocks] to keep her overall strength balanced.

Ability 2 [Demon Gate Opens]:

Cooldown increased from 24/23/22/21/20s to 32/30/28/26/24s.

Ability 3 [Surprise Tales]:

Cooldown increased from 12/11.5/11/10.5/10s to 14/13/12/11/10s.

Ultimate Ability [When Disaster Knocks]:

Base damage reduced from 25/55/85 to 22/53.5/85.

5. Shuten Doji

Shuten Doji's window of vulnerability has been too short. His Ability 1 [Lament] had too low a cooldown, and its enhanced basic attacks lasted too long, letting him gain a big advantage without worrying about timing. In addition, his Ultimate Ability [New Boss in Town] provided too much Madness, allowing him to trigger enhanced abilities too frequently. We've adjusted his cooldowns, the duration of enhanced basic attacks, and Madness generation to ensure Shuten Doji gains high rewards only when he times his abilities well, while also giving opponents more counterplay opportunities.

Ability 1 [Lament]:

Cooldown increased from 5.5s to 8/7.5/7/6.5/6s.

Duration for 2 enhanced basic attacks reduced from 6s to 4s.

Duration for 3 enhanced basic attacks reduced from 10s to 6s.

Ultimate Ability [New Boss in Town]:

Madness gained per second reduced from 15/20/25 to 10/15/20.

6. Miketsu

Miketsu is currently a bit underpowered. Ability 2 [Fox Realm] and Ability 3 [Rain of Arrows] don't feel impactful enough, and her mid game damage is also somewhat low. So, we've slightly buffed these abilities and increased Miketsu's overall damage output a bit, hoping she'll perform better in Heian-kyo.

Passive [Grain Spike]:

Damage increased from (37*Current Level + 10% of target's lost HP) to (45*Current Level + 10% of target's lost HP).

Ability 2 [Fox Realm]:

Attack Speed increased from 25%/30%/35%/40%/45% to 30%/37.5%/45%/52.5%/60%.

Ability 3 [Rain of Arrows]:

Slow effect increased from 30%/37.5%/45%/52.5%/60% to 40%/45%/50%/55%/60%.

7. Shiranui

Shiranui's mid-to-late game burst damage has been too high. She can deal heavy bursts in a short time without relying on multiple casts of her dance move. To limit her burst potential, we've slightly reduced the damage of her Ability 2 [Ashen Night].

8. Kyuumei Neko

Kyuumei Neko's late-game burst damage has been excessive. In particular, the damage she deals while untargetable in Ability 1 [Revenge] was too strong. To control her late-game strength, we've reduced the CRIT effect of her Passive [Nine Lives] and lowered the Attack bonus of Ability 1 [Revenge].

Passive [Nine Lives]:

CRIT effect decreased from 175% to 165%.

Ability 1 [Revenge]:

The Attack bonus for the first two claw strikes has been reduced from (+20% Attack) to (+15% Attack).

The Attack bonus for the landing claw strike has been reduced from (+35% Attack) to (+30% Attack).

9. Hakuzosu

Hakuzosu's burst damage in Fox Form has been too high. In Fox Form, Ability 1 [White Fox: Recollect] granted 2 stacks of [Bite], letting him unleash burst damage too quickly and giving opponents little chance to respond. After this adjustment, Fox Form Ability 1 [White Fox: Recollect] will only grant 1 stack of [Bite]. In addition, Human Form Ultimate Ability [Mt. Dream: Fox Shadow] will now grant 1 stack of [Bite]. We've also reduced the Ability Power bonus of Fox Form Ability 2 [White Fox: Desperate Struggle] for the first few stacks, so Hakuzosu needs to land multiple abilities to reach high burst damage.

Ability 1: White Fox - Recollect (Fox Form)

The number of [Bite] stacks granted by the enhanced basic attack has been reduced from 2 to 1.

Human Form Ultimate Ability [Mt. Dream: Fox Shadow]:

Now grants 1 stack of [Bite] mark.

Ability 2 [White Fox - Desperate Struggle (Fox Form)]:

The Ability Power bonus for 0/1/2/3 stacks of [Bite] has been reduced from (+70%/80.5%/91%/101.5% Ability Power) to (+55%/70%/85%/100% Ability Power).

[Shikigami Bond]

Shikigami: Kidomaru & Enmusubi

Could the blood of a Shura demon truly give rise to the most devoted follower of a god?

As one of the most beloved rival pairs among Onmyoji players, Kidomaru and Enmusubi's Bond was designed to enhance their synergy through two key mechanics: First, Kidomaru can help Enmusubi pick up [Fate Card]; second, when Enmusubi links to Kidomaru with Ability 3, her Ability 1 will be cast again on Kidomaru, allowing them to work more closely together.

Effect Description:

1. Kidomaru can help Enmusubi pick up [Fate Card]. During this process, Kidomaru gains Haste and binds a small demon.

2. When Enmusubi casts her Ability 3 near Kidomaru, the two become linked. While the link is active, every time Enmusubi uses her Ability 1, Kidomaru also triggers the same ability. This triggered effect does not apply [Fate Seal], and its power is greatly reduced.

Shikigami: Kuro Mujou & Shiro Mujou

In life or death, protecting his younger brother has always been Kuro Mujou's duty.

Having once endured the pain of losing his brother, Kuro Mujou will never allow harm to come to the sibling he has regained. On the battlefield of Heian-kyo, this bond is designed to capture Kuro's resolve to risk everything to protect Shiro Mujou.

Effect Description:

When Shiro Mujou falls in battle, if Kuro Mujou and the attacker are nearby, Shiro's soul will linger for up to 4s. During this time, if Kuro defeats the attacker, he rescues Shiro's soul, allowing him to revive on the spot with a small percentage of his HP restored. Once triggered, this revival enters a cooldown of 240s. If Kuro Mujou does not succeed in time, the effect does not alter Shiro's normal respawn and his soul will fade as usual.

Shikigami: Kuro & Shiro

A bond forged in the face of death, an unbreakable connection.

We wanted to express the idea of mutual protection through a damage-sharing mechanic, allowing Kuro to take on part of Shiro's burden, while Shiro in turn heals Kuro through the damage he inflicts. In this way, the two can stand side by side against powerful foes on the battlefield of Heian-kyo.

Effect Description:

When Shiro is within range of Kuro during Kuro's ultimate ability, a link forms between them. While this link lasts, a portion of the damage that Shiro receives will instead be transferred to Kuro as continuous HP loss. At the same time, part of the damage dealt by Shiro will be converted into healing for Kuro.

Shikigami: Kinnara & Akaname

Akaname is an old acquaintance of Kinnara, and he has always been fond of the music she once played on Itsukushima.

We designed their bond effect to highlight Akaname's diligence in washing away filth and serving others, while also granting him fitting rewards to reflect the value of his effort and contribution.

Effect Description:

When Kinnara is near Akaname, every time she is afflicted by a debuff, she gains a stack of [Stain]. When Akaname casts Ability 2 on Kinnara, all stacks of [Stain] are removed, and Kinnara is healed. In addition, using the ability in this way refunds part of its cooldown.

Shikigami: Kaoru & Yamakaze

Cross the boundary between life and death, and set out for greater adventures together.

Kaoru, the girl who once gave her life to save Yamakaze, has remained inseparable from him even after becoming a spirit. Their bond is as deep as that between siblings, and we used this connection as the foundation for their bond effect: when Kaoru casts her ultimate ability near Yamakaze, she will gain some of Yamakaze's abilities, creating a combat advantage for him.

Effect Description:

When Kaoru casts her ultimate ability [Come On, Owly!] while Yamakaze is within range, the thorns created by Yamakaze's own ultimate ability [King of the Forest] will also appear along Kaoru's flight path.

To enhance the gameplay experience, the following adjustments have been made:

I. New Features Outside of Matches:

A new feature has been added to the Shikigami screen that allows you to view Shikigami bonds and their stories.

II. In-Match Optimizations:

Optimized the display logic for bond shikigami icons in the shikigami selection list.
Optimized the information display in the pop-up window for the "Shikigami Bond" button.

3. Optimized the 5-player ranked match logic: Allows starting games when primary/secondary role selections don't cover all lanes, with no lane assignments during the ban/pick phase in such cases.

We will change the lineup of the limited-time free shikigami at 5:00 AM on 9/1. The new free shikigami will be Komatsu, Kaguya, Aobozu, Yamawaro, Aori, Kaoru, Kosodenote, and Yamakaze.

Onmyoji who own the God of Fortune Month Pact will have the additional free shikigami, Vampira and Oitsuki.

Of these shikigami, Kosodenote and Yamakaze have a difficulty of Extreme. Onmyoji who have been in Heian-kyo for less than 7 days can't use them in battle for free.
